Gallery at WREN

 Overview About Gallery at WREN

The Adair Inn is sponsoring the Gallery Season in 2021.

The Gallery at WREN is the gold standard in the North Country for fine art galleries. The Gallery, which opened in 2001, acts as an artistic forum for a community's artistic expression, as well as a place for the public to enjoy, learn about, and appreciate art.

During our daily shop hours, you are welcome to visit the Gallery.

OPEN 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are the days of the week.

CLOSED

Wednesdays

The Gallery offers a new exhibition every two months showcasing local and regional artists in the mountains of northern New Hampshire, where possibilities for professional artists and serious art lovers can be minimal. WREN participants are encouraged to partake in common open-call group shows once a year, which act as cultural gatherings of the amazing creativity and uniqueness in our midst as well as supportive learning opportunities for young and aspiring musicians.

Instead of regular First Friday activities, the Gallery at WREN hosts entertaining artist talks and monthly exhibition tips on Facebook, as well as "Arts at Adair," a recent project in collaboration with the Adair Country Inn & Restaurant. To learn more, follow us on social media!

COLOR!

“COLOR!” will be on display in the Gallery at WREN from May 7 to June 28, 2021, showcasing the exuberant, captivating artwork of painters Ann Saunderson and Pam Tarbell.

Both Saunderson and Tarbell are set to make a visual impact in the recently revamped Gallery at WREN as new WREN representatives and longstanding renowned artists. “COLOR!” serves as a thematic, welcome complement to the shifting seasons through vast colour palettes and abstract, intricate designs.

This season, the magic of “COLOR!” is on full show in the Gallery at WREN, and everyone is welcomed to feel the psychic vibration of this vivid, stunning artistic feast.

During the months of May and June, select items from the "COLOR!" show will be on view in the sitting room of the Adair Country Inn & Restaurant in Bethlehem as part of the ongoing "Arts at the Adair" project. The Adair's relationship with WREN invites guests to engage with the local arts community while also enjoying the luxury of a historic inn. On their tour of the “COLOR!” showcase, visitors are encouraged to visit both the Adair and the Gallery at WREN.
